As we welcome the dawn of 2025, China's international "circle of friends" has sent warm wishes to mark the occasion. Erik Nilsson, a seasoned American journalist who has been telling China's stories for 18 years, recently expressed his hopes in fluent Chinese during an interview with China News Network, wishing all his Chinese friends success, good health, and happiness.
Linjie Chou Zanadu, a Chinese scholar and associate professor at the European Center for Peace and Development, highlighted China's rapid technological advancements. He predicted that Chinese electric vehicles will expand into more developing countries, becoming synonymous with advanced technology and reliable quality. 2024年，载人航天工程规划了2次载人飞行任务和2次货运飞船补给任务，天舟七号货运飞船补给任务已于1月圆满完成，后续还将陆续实施神舟十八号和神舟十九号2次载人飞行任务及天舟八号货运飞船补给任务。执行2次载人飞行任务的航天员乘组已经选定，正在开展任务训练。目前，驻守空间站的神舟十七号航天员乘组身心状态良好，预计于4月底返回地面。

报道提到，去年《预算案》提出增加烟草税，即时将每支香烟的烟草税调高6毫，并按同等比例提高其他烟草产品税率，即调高31.48%。加税后每包烟大约72元至80元，税率占比超过六成。
